* DỊCH VỤ THAM KHẢO ẢO LÀ GÌ ?
Theo OCLC (Online Computer Libarary Center) : Tham khao ảo là việc sử dụng kỹ thuật truyền thông tin và vi tính cung cấp dịch vụ tham khảo đến người dung mọi lúc và mọi nơi .

*PHÂN LOẠI DỊCH VỤ THAM KHẢO  :

- Tham khảo bất đồng bộ ( Asynchronous digital reference): như tham vấn quá Email, Web From. Khách hàng gởi câu hỏi và cán bộ tham khảo hồi đáp sau.

- Tham khảo đồng bộ: như chat, voice IP, Video Conferencing, SMS,IM

*BẢN CHẤT CỦA DỊCH VỤ:

- Tìm kiếm dữ liệu/ thông tin cho người sử dụng

- Cung ứng sự huấn luyện.

- Cung ứng sự hướng dẫn và hỗ trợ cho người sử dụng.

*CHỨC NĂNG:

 - Xây dựng và tổ chức nguồn lực tài liệu và trang thiết bị liên quan nhằm đáp ứng nhu cầu thông tin , cung cấp các dịch vụ tham khảo một cách trực tiếp ,qua điện thoại ,email(hoặc Fax).

- Tổ chức thực hiện công tác tra cứu và tập huấn tra cứu thông tin .

- Cung cấp một cách tích cực và đúng lúc các thông tin tham khảo chính xác và hữu hiệu cho người dùng tin .Từng bước hoàn thiện bộ máy tra cứu thông tin tư liệu trong mỗi thư viện

I / DỊCH VỤ THAM KHẢO ĐỒNG BỘ

*  Web http://www.askalibrarian.org ( Đây là một trang ghép liên thư viện ở Mỹ , tại web này người sử dụng có thể tùy chọn vào thư viện đã có sẵn để trao đổi thông tin )
-   Hình thức : Chat 

 1/  Vào trang chủ :.

2/  Chọn vào “ Trò chuyện với một thư viện Florida” để có thể trao đổi trực tiếp với cán bộ tham khảo.

 Chọn  Thư viện bạn muốn tìm hiểu / Ở đây tôi chọn Thư viện đại học : American InterContinental  University"

3/ Điền đầy đủ vào các thông tin / Click vào “ trò chuyện với một thư viện Florida”

4/ Trực tiếp tra đổi với cán bộ thư viện :

-  Hình thức : Chat Yahoo! Messenger

1/ Truy cập vào trang Web của trường là http://lib.hui.edu.vn / Click vào biểu tượng CHAT VỚI THỦ THƯ. Lưu ý : Để chat thành công thì chế độ CHAT VỚI THỦ THƯ phải ở chế độ nick sáng ONLINE và người dùng phải có tài khoản Yahoo! Messenger để có kết nối làm việc với thủ thư.

2/ Xuất hiện khung chat ( tên truy cập từ phía thư viện là " Libhui"  / Bạn có thể trao đổi trực tuyến với các thủ thư

II/ DỊCH VỤ THAM KHẢO BẤT ĐỒNG BỘ

Địa chỉ: Thư viện  Quốc hội Mỹ ( web: http://www.loc.gov)

1/ Truy cập vào trang Web của Thư viện Quốc hội Mỹ :

Tiếp theo chọn ASK A LIBRARIAN để trao đổi thông tin

2/ Xuất hiện giao diện  của ASK A LIBRARIAN/ Chọn một liên kết phía dưới, dựa trên các chủ đề của câu hỏi của bạn. 

- Một số phòng có khả năng trò chuyện trực tuyến , chỉ định bởi các biểu tượng " Chat" màu đỏ ( Lưu ý : các phòng chat chỉ thực hiện được từ 2:00- 4:00 PM từ thứ 2 đến thứ 6 )

3/ Nhập đầy đủ các thông tin các nhân và câu hỏi dành cho thư viện mà bạn cần giải đáp:

4/ Sau ít phút bạn sẽ nhận được thông báo từ thư viện.

Đồng thời, ở mail bạn cung cấp sẽ nhận được Thư thông báo đã nhận được Câu hỏi của bạn .Và câu trả lời sẽ được nhận sớm nhất thông qua mail mà bạn cung cấp

SAO CHÉP BIỂU GHI THƯ MỤC

PHẦN 1 : DÙNG GIAO THỨC Z39.50 CỦA MARCEDIT VÀ CDS/ISISB ĐỂ LẤY BIỂU GHI TỪ THƯ VIỆN KHÁC VỀ CƠ SỞ DỮ LIỆU THƯ VIỆN MÌNH

CÁCH 1 : SAO CHÉP BIỂU GHI THÔNG QUA CỔNG GIAO THỨC Z39.50 TỪ MARCEDIT:

1/ Khởi động phần mềm MarcEdit /xuất hiện khung có tên là MarcEdit by Terry Reese / Z39.50/SRU Client

 2/Sau đó xuất hiện khung tìm kiếm / Gỏ từ khóa cần tìm và chọn hình thức tìm kiếm / Xuất hiện các biểu ghi tìm thấy ở khung bên dưới (Results)

3/ Chọn các biểu ghi / Click chuột phải rồi chọn Display SelectedRecords.

Lưu biểu ghi 

4/ Mở file có chứa biểu ghi đã lưu trước đó / Click vào sẽ xuất hiện khung MARC Tool / Chỉnh sửa sang định dạng XML .Đối với Output thì đổi .XML ) / Chọn Excute

 CÁCH 2: LẤY BIỂU GHI THÔNG QUA CỔNG GIAO THỨC Z39.50 TỪ CDS/ISIS:

1/ Khởi động phần mềm / chọn Database / Open Connection :

 Xuất hiện khung / Chọn Finish

2/ Chọn Tools / Options:

Xuất hiện khung Options / No Proxy / Ok

3/ Chọn Tools / Chọn Z39.50 Client

Xuất hiện Z39.50 Window 

4/ Chọn biểu ghi muốn sao chép / Export / MarcXML

Xuất hiện khung Export Z39.50 / Đặt tên file và  chọn nơi lưu .

PHẦN 2 : TIẾP THEO LÀ PHẦN ĐƯA BIỂU GHI VỪA SAO  CHÉP VÀO CSDL CỦA THƯ VIỆN MONG MUỐN TỪ PHẦN MỀM CDS/ ISIS: ( Lần lượt qua các bước )

1/ Click Database/ J-ISIS Import Wizard

2/ Từ khung  J-ISIS Import Wizard / External File mở file chứa biểu ghi đã sao chép ( .XML)/ Marc Record / MARCXML/ Next

3/Tiếp theo chọn Update hoặc Merge /  Next 

Sau khi chọn Next / Ở phần Choose Database chọn CSDL muốn thêm biểu ghi đã sao chép / Next.

Tiếp tục chọn Next  / Finish ( Khi đó ta đã nhập biểu ghi thành công )

4/ Xem lại các biểu ghi đã nhập vào CSDL / Browse / DataViewer
